Shot List

These are a few basic shots that will be used in our film.

Custom Mood Board

Here I have created a quick mood board showing what kinda of clothing and costumes the characters in our film will be wearing!

Sound Track / Music

Story Board + Extended Detail

As this story board is slightly short we have decided to add a few more further secnes. There will be over the should the shots of on the characters hold a map and the two characters having a convocation about directions ect. At the start of the clip there will be a 10 second clip of the Lions gate logo and opening scene as this would be out Producers and Distributors. At the start of the clip there will also be a digital title. This will be transparent and will over around for about 30 seconds then fade out. With these extra scene out clip with easily be 2.00mins.

Ideal location/scenery

The type of scenery shown above are ideal for us because we would be looking to have a wild environment whilst still being in a forest so that it can be used in an eerie way whilst still being a believable setting for our storyline.

Shaun of the Dead opening 2mins!

The clip starts with a close up of a mans feet. We slowly tilt up to reveal the mans face. From the background we can see that he’s at home. We can hear non diegetic up beat jolly sounding music. We then hear a diegetic sound of the man groaning as yawns. We then cut to a shot of the man living room. We can see his room mate chilling out on the sofa playing the Xbox. We then slowly zoom in to both friends as they play the Xbox. The music then quickly speeds up, the shot length increases. We quickly see a shots of him unzipping his flies, flushing the toilet, brushing his teeth, washing his hands and putting of his shirt. From these first few clips we would get the idea the films genre is action / horror.
We then cut to a close of up man looking at him self in the mirror. The length of the shot is very long letting us focus on his emotionless face. He slight turns his face and a man appears and speaks in a deep clear voice. “You left the door open again last night” From this point onwards the genre is established as horror / black comedy. We then cut a to a sequence of very short shots. These strange bursts of fast paced editing and shot duration of shots give the film a very mysterious and odd feeling. After this we cut to a long shot of both the man talking in the kitchen. We can hear the diegetic sound of the other man still in the living room playing the Xbox

Halloween opening 2 mins!

The clip starts with a black screen. We can slowly hear the fade in of non diegetic fast paced. The credits fade in, after this the face on a pumpkin also fades in. The pace of the music increases as the speed of the credits appearing does to.  It becomes very clear that the genre is horror or thriller. This is due to the conventions the on scary pumpkin face and the eerie music. The camera slowly. The red coloured front is connotation blood. The clip starts with an establishing shot a house. The shot is very dark and not much is visible.

It is film in the self film style like the Blair witch project. As he walked up to the house we can see a couple kissing. He then moves around and follow them on a different angle. The genre is confirmed when we know the person carrying the camera picks up the knife and try’s to find the couple. He then walks up the stairs still in a point on view shot. This camera angle gives the feeling that we are the person. putting us in his place.
