Who would be the audience for your media product? How did you attract / address your audience?

The target audiences for The Last Walk are 17 to 25 year old males and females. In the research section we looked why our target audience liked horror films. We also looked in to other horror films that used a low budget to see what worked well and what we could use in our own film. We have chosen this age range, as we believe they are the group of people who are mostly likely want to see a gritty British horror film.

To attracted an audience once I film had been finally finished I showed it to few friends and asked for there feedback. I have added their response below.

Matt aged 17 – I really like what you guys have done here. I feel’s like a proper film. I want to see the rest.  The dark music and surreal titles gives it is scary feel! The narrative was easy to follow as it fitted the stereotypical thriller theme. The style of filming you used really made me feel like I was in there position. I think that if this were really made into a full film I would defiantly go and see it.

Craig aged 19 – Overall I really like this short clip. It shows that you have put a lot on time and energy into producing it. The clip has a great pace, you never left feeling bored. However an improvement in my opinion would be the quality of the clip, although I know you had to use the collage cameras. I really like what you have made here. Well done.

Ash aged 23 – Really nice job, looks like a real horror film. I think its been filmed really well. I also thing the interference gives it a really cool touch. I really felt like it fitted the horror conventions and I was watching a real film. The titles and cool sound effects really add to the feel of the
